Blackberry Z10 VS Samsung Galaxy S3 Specs Comparison Which One Will You Own
Struggling Research In Motion Ltd.,now renames itself BlackBerry, finally unveils two new BlackBerry mobile devices on Wednesday, which run on the revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system and serves as a platform for third-party apps in order to compete with the rapidly growing iPhone and Android. So today, we are going to show you how the all-touch Blackberry Z10 compares with Samsungs Galaxy S III, the worlds best-selling phone in Q3.
Display: BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2-inch (diagonal) display with a resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels (356 pixels per inch), while the Galaxy S3 owns a 4.8-inches Super AMOLED HD display and the resolution stands at 1,280x720. With the thin all-black body with a soft-to-the-touch back design, Z10 is not a beautiful or elegant phone, but its well-made and comfortable to hold.
Processor, RAM: BlackBerry Z10 runs on a dual-core processor clocked to 1.5GHz , 2GB of RAM, while Samsung Galaxy S3 is powered by Samsungs own quad core Exynos 1.4GHz Cortex A9 processor for international version, Snapdragon S4 dual core at 1.5GHz for the US version.
Camera: Blackberry Z10 is equipped with a rear-facing 8 megapixel shooter capable of 1080p video, and a front-facing 2 megapixel camera which can do 720p video capture. The camera doesnt take shots as crisp as the ones youll get from the Galaxy s3, but have a new "wow" features called Time Shift. The Galaxy S3 has an 8-megapixel camera on back and a front camera at 1.9 megapixels.
Storage and cloud: BlackBerry Z10 has a 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot of up to 32 GB, while the Galaxy S3 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions and support for SD card up to 64GB. Samsung owns a big advantage in this aspect. BB10 has no built-in cloud system for syncing or storing photos or other data like Android or Apple devices, but says it plans to work on its own system over time.
Operating System: Running on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, Performance on the Z10 was generally snappy and responsive and all about the new version of BlackBerrys software is swiping and tapping your fingers on the big screen. Compared to Android, it also offers additional features like BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Keyboard and Camera with Time Shift mode.
Apps: The Z10 with BlackBerry 10 comes with many of the standard preloaded apps youd expect -- photos, video, BlackBerrys BBM app (which now supports voice and video calls), important social media apps like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Foursquare, and a new BlackBerrys own Maps app, not as good as Google Maps, somewhat made us disappointed.
Android and iOS are fully mature platforms now, with hundreds of thousands of apps, RIMs 80,000 or so are simply insufficient to offer a viable alternative. But its really not about the raw numbers; its about getting support for key developers, and offering customers a variety of useful and entertaining experiences. So BlackBerry has a long way to have the apps that have become as popular on the iPhone and Android phones, or just as Windows phone.
Battery: In consideration of the battery power, Samsung Galaxy S3 has a more powerful 2100mAh battery while Blackberry has only provided a disappointed 1,800 mAh battery in the device. Galaxy S3s battery is able to hold up to 12 hours of talk time that vary on the networks available, while Z10 support Talk time up to 10 hours on 3G, Up to 60 hours of audio playback and 11 hours of video playback. Lucky, Users can replace the battery with a spare like the Galaxy s3.
Price: The detailed price of Z10 is not yet known. Verizon Wireless says it will sell it for $200 with a two-year service agreement. Unlocked version will be sold for $599. The price of Galaxy s3 sometimes as low as $99 for basic model, though carriers typically charge $199 with two-year contract.
Release Date: Samsung galaxy s3 is now available worldwide, including U.S. in June 2012 and Europe in May 2012. BlackBerry Z10 will hit the shelves In U.S. in March. Varies elsewhere, including U.K. on Thursday, Canada on Feb. 5 and Latin America by end of March.
Bottom Line: There is no doubt that the Z10 is a fully modern BlackBerry. It is fast than before, has a mobile browser that beats many of the others and an outstanding keyboard; most important it runs a brand new operating system. The new software does offer something different than the others, but overall it (the maps and other features like voice control) and its app store lack the robustness of Apples, Googles and even Microsofts offerings. So which do you prefer, it depends on you.

Things you MUST EAT Hatyai Thailand Pt 2
Warning : Gross/explicit content available (Not really lah I think you guys can handle it )
Yesterday I just blogged about my Hatyai trip Part 1 (click) ! And even that also haven finish talking about my day 1 in Hatyai, Thailand. Although this is my 3rd time to Hatyai, one thing I must really love about this place is their enormous amount of yummy street food! Seriously, Ive been to Phuket not long ago and quite disappointed by its lack of street food. I guess such expectations are caused by Hatyai, which is more like a place to eat rather than shop.
First thing first, PORK is a comfort food widely available in Thailand. Of course, not mentioning all (or most) meals in MCD are pork, their nasi lemak is minced pork version, and noodles, and rice, pork pork pork! I didnt had the nasi lemak this time cause I wanna try other foodie and I get full very fast lol. And Im sorry to my Muslim friends if youre reading this. So non-halal. Anyway they also have non-pork yummy foodie in Thailand of course!
xx
1. Chicken rice
I like Hatyais chicken rice. Chicken rice is never my favourite in Malaysia. Only in certain rare places they provide nice chicken rice here in Malaysia. Mostly are prepared without effort (sorry to ppl who sell chicken rice but sometimes you guys really make me feel very angry).
So yea, Hatyais chicken rice is like one biji one biji and their chicken and pork is omg so juicy and toned I dont know how to describe it... Im not a good food blogger.
3. Floating Market
(Just visit the Floating Market called Wat Klong Hae. They have a lot yummy food, even gross food to offer! Non only that, if youre planing to buy things at very cheap prices, you can find it there. Haha! Of course, dont give too high expectations on the quality. Would suggest you guys not to buy clothes or shoes there. Maybe slippers or some.. accessories. Lol.
Floating Market aka Wat Klong Hae is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3pm till 9pm Thailand timing. If you must know, Malaysias timing is one hour faster them them yo! This floating market doesnt mean we sit on the boat floating and buying things from other boats. Its not Venice!! Wat Klong Hae has 4 sections and the one section that makes up the Floating market are the boats which sells only Muslim food. Heh!

Such a tiring day 1 in Hatyai. And to end this tiring day? Must go for full body massage cause its so cheap and relaxing! 300 Baht (Myr 30) for 2 hours. Guys if youve visited Thailand without even tried their massage, Im gonna kill you! I think they are born to massage, you really must try it. Every time I go to Hatyai, Ill go for massage every single day.
I gotta sleep now peepo. Ill continue my Hatyai posts asap! This week Im going for Battle of the Bands so that means more jamming time and hopefully well win win win!
Xoxo

2. Coconut Ice cream
Whats so special about Hatyais coconut ice cream huh? Three times Ive been here and all this while Ill never forget to get their oh-so-special coconut ice cream ! Usually these ice cream come in mobile stalls/trucks on the streets randomly and frequently, so you can just be as lucky as anyone when you walk on the street!
The thing about these ice creams is that they have many ingredients in them which includes sticky rice, atachi, sweet potatoes, ice cream portions and topped with crushed toasted peanuts. Of course different stalls offer some different variations(only some has sweet potatoes) but these are their main ingredients. Plus its very cheap. Only 20 baht (Myr 2). Also, I heard ice creams in Thailand taste better. Try Swensons or other prominent ice cream brands here!

Fighting fishes! Tempted to get one back home but afraid itll die very soon in my hands.
The first time Im here I didnt dare to try these deep fried maggots. Its only 20 Baht (Myr 2) thou and you can mix them. Errrrrrrkk I tried the easiest to swallow, the maggots shell. Lol.
I think this is their version of keropok lekor. Omg so crunchy but not too hard! Its 20 Baht (Myr 2) and I have like over 20 pieces that I cant finish them even thou Im sharing with my family.
Fancy looking sushi but it doesnt look fresh :X
There! The floating boats are behind us. With sister and mummy. Such beautiful sky!
Over at the stalls on the boat, of course you cant get on the boat so the way to pay for it is like this! They will hand your food over in the basket over a long stick, and you put your money there. Brilliant! I have this idea when I was a kid ok!
Their all kind of drinks and juices, they put it in these beautifully decorated bottles! I supposed theyre made from sugar cane and.... semi-ceramics? You dont have to return it back yo! In Malaysia we use plastics only wtf.
My drink!
I wonder how they feel like to be on the boat selling stuffs. Looks damn fun! lol
Tornado potato!
Weird looking ... vegetable? Fruit?
Strawberries!
