Samsung Optimistic Will Slide Nokia

Samsung Optimistic Will Slide Nokia - Samsung Electronics Co. believes will become the worlds largest mobile phone manufacturer in 2012, ending 14 years of leadership of Nokia in the mobile handset market. Samsung, the maker of smart phones become the worlds number 1 in the third quarter of 2011.

Quickly establish supremacy with a sleek design and a rich product lineup, while the latest models from competitors such as HTC, Nokia, and Research In Motion is struggling to attract consumers, Reuters writes in his report.

Chief Executive of Samsungs Choi Gee-sung told to reporters in Las Vegas, USA, on Monday that Samsung has exceeded Nokia in terms of revenue in the latest quarter and are confident it will defeat the Finnish group in shipments this year.

That meant another defeat for Nokia, after a decade of losing its dominance in the smartphone market and Apple in its place in the second quarter of 2011.

Finnish company, Nokia, climbed to the top of the mobile phone industry in 1990 when it beat Motorola in phone sales, and since then a relatively long time to control the market.

Estimated "bullish" Samsung is in line with the opinion of some analysts, including Royal Bank of Scotland, which states Samsung will build momentum to overtake Nokia by 2012.

However, analysts on average expect Nokia to maintain its leadership in the mobile market. Samsung - the worlds largest technology companies in revenue - said at the beginning of last December that its handset sales in 2011 reached 300 million units for the first time, mainly supported by a quadruple jump in smartphone sales.

Analysts expect handset market growth will slow in 2012, with weak demand in Western Europe, but strong demand in emerging markets, which has historically held a strong Nokia.

"I think it would be difficult for Samsung beat Nokia without more aggressively targeting emerging markets," said Gartner analyst Carolina Milanesi said.

Choi also said that Samsung is likely to meet 2015 sales target ahead of schedule and plans to increase investment this year.

"With the current rate of sales growth, we tend to achieve 2015 sales target of 200 billion dollars more quickly," Choi told reporters. Samsung last week reported its earnings rose 6.5 percent in 2011 to 164.7 trillion won (141.54 billion dollars). ligaponsel.com

Blackberry Z10 VS Samsung Galaxy S3 Specs Comparison Which One Will You Own

Struggling Research In Motion Ltd.,now renames itself BlackBerry, finally unveils two new BlackBerry mobile devices on Wednesday, which run on the revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system and serves as a platform for third-party apps in order to compete with the rapidly growing iPhone and Android. So today, we are going to show you how the all-touch Blackberry Z10 compares with Samsungs Galaxy S III, the worlds best-selling phone in Q3.
Display:  BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2-inch (diagonal) display with a resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels (356 pixels per inch), while the Galaxy S3 owns a 4.8-inches Super AMOLED HD display and the resolution stands at 1,280x720. With the thin all-black body with a soft-to-the-touch back design, Z10 is not a beautiful or elegant phone, but its well-made and comfortable to hold.

Processor, RAM:  BlackBerry Z10 runs on a dual-core processor clocked to 1.5GHz , 2GB of RAM, while Samsung Galaxy S3 is powered by Samsungs own quad core Exynos 1.4GHz Cortex A9 processor for international version, Snapdragon S4 dual core at 1.5GHz for the US version.

Camera:  Blackberry Z10 is equipped with a rear-facing 8 megapixel shooter capable of 1080p video, and a front-facing 2 megapixel camera which can do 720p video capture. The camera doesnt take shots as crisp as the ones youll get from the Galaxy s3, but have a new "wow" features called Time Shift. The Galaxy S3 has an 8-megapixel camera on back and a front camera at 1.9 megapixels.
Time Shift
Storage and cloud:  BlackBerry Z10 has a 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot of up to 32 GB, while the Galaxy S3 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions and support for SD card up to 64GB. Samsung owns a big advantage in this aspect. BB10 has no built-in cloud system for syncing or storing photos or other data like Android or Apple devices, but says it plans to work on its own system over time.

Operating System:  Running on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, Performance on the Z10 was generally snappy and responsive and all about the new version of BlackBerrys software is swiping and tapping your fingers on the big screen. Compared to Android, it also offers additional features like BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Keyboard and Camera with Time Shift mode.

Apps:  The Z10 with BlackBerry 10 comes with many of the standard preloaded apps youd expect -- photos, video, BlackBerrys BBM app (which now supports voice and video calls), important social media apps like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Foursquare, and a new BlackBerrys own Maps app, not as good as Google Maps, somewhat made us disappointed.
Blackberry Apps
Android and iOS are fully mature platforms now, with hundreds of thousands of apps, RIMs 80,000 or so are simply insufficient to offer a viable alternative. But its really not about the raw numbers; its about getting support for key developers, and offering customers a variety of useful and entertaining experiences. So BlackBerry has a long way to have the apps that have become as popular on the iPhone and Android phones, or just as Windows phone.

Battery:  In consideration of the battery power, Samsung Galaxy S3 has a more powerful 2100mAh battery while Blackberry has only provided a disappointed 1,800 mAh battery in the device. Galaxy S3s battery is able to hold up to 12 hours of talk time that vary on the networks available, while Z10 support Talk time up to 10 hours on 3G, Up to 60 hours of audio playback and 11 hours of video playback. Lucky, Users can replace the battery with a spare like the Galaxy s3.

Price:  The detailed price of Z10 is not yet known. Verizon Wireless says it will sell it for $200 with a two-year service agreement. Unlocked version will be sold for $599. The price of Galaxy s3 sometimes as low as $99 for basic model, though carriers typically charge $199 with two-year contract.

Release Date:  Samsung galaxy s3 is now available worldwide, including U.S. in June 2012 and Europe in May 2012. BlackBerry Z10 will hit the shelves In U.S. in March. Varies elsewhere, including U.K. on Thursday, Canada on Feb. 5 and Latin America by end of March.

Bottom Line:  There is no doubt that the Z10 is a fully modern BlackBerry. It is fast than before, has a mobile browser that beats many of the others and an outstanding keyboard; most important it runs a brand new operating system. The new software does offer something different than the others, but overall it (the maps and other features like voice control) and its app store lack the robustness of Apples, Googles and even Microsofts offerings. So which do you prefer, it depends on you.

Samsung s 8 Core Exynos 5 Octa Processor vs Exynos 4 Quad Your Next Phone Will Be Fast

If you had to pick one dominant company at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013, it would have to be Samsung, a Genius tech company from South Korea. Apart from the excited Youm flexible-display technology debuted at CES closing keynote, Samsung also announces the 8-core Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor. Yes, it has two sets of quad-core processors and was designed with low power mobile devices in mind and uses ARMs big.LITTLE processing technology. It is the first amazing 8-core mobile chip in the world made by Samsung, not from NVIDIA or Qualcomm.
Samsung Exynos 5 Octa

Samsung Exynos 5 Octa:
There are two groups of four cores that can run at any given time with this Exynos 5 Octa processor.  When performance is needed, four Cortex A15 cores can handle the heavy lifting, and when doing more common tasks, you have four Cortex A7 cores to take care of things.

It is thought the first Octa processors will have the Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, while at the same time the A7 cores will run at 1.2GHz. The on-board GPU has yet to be confirmed, but it is sure to offer a major graphical boost over the Exynos 4. An ARM Mali-T604 quad-core GPU is predicted.

Samsung Exynos 4 Quad:
Its a 32nm, 1.4-1.6 GHz Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 beast with twice the processing capability of the older Exynos 4 Dual, while consuming 20 percent less power. The processor also sports a full HD 30 fps video hardware codec engine which enables 1080p video recording and playback. No doubt the new Exynos 5 Octa processor must own the same function.

Samsung Exynos 4 Quad

Comparison:
Samsung says the new processor delivers twice the performance of its predecessor, Samsungs Exynos 4 Quad, which now featured in the worlds best-selling phone, the Samsung galaxy s3 and also the phablet Galaxy note 2 (plus improved graphics). That is to say new phones from Samsung are going to be noticeably faster than before.

Samsung also claimed that the enhanced processing power offered by Exynos 5 Octa processor would allow smartphones and tablets to perform many tasks simultaneously, such as playing a game, watching an HD movie, and searching for a restaurant or business, all without lag. Samsung also says it provides twice the 3D performance of any previous mobile processor, including the companys Exynos 4 Quad.

For short battery life, a common problem faced by most of the android phone, Samsung says that it could end up using 70% less battery life than current quad-core CPUs on the market now, as well as the dual-core Exynos 5, which currently runs on the Nexus 10. So you can read, watch, play, and write whatever you want, as long as you want.

Although Samsung didnt reveal exactly when the Exynos 5 Octa will be available, but rumors about that it would be featured in the future high-end Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 is all around the corner. So just be patience. Lets expect it will make its way into phones and tablets this year.
